Payroll Forms & Handbooks

The Dakota County Clerk’s office is responsible for processing payroll claims submitted for payment to employees. Payroll is processed bi-weekly per the adopted schedule on the County Calendar.  Payroll Claims must be approved by the County Board of Commissioners before payment.

Payroll Minutes

If you would like to see who was paid in a Payroll period, they are placed in the minutes which are printed in the Dakota County Star, or you may view them online when they become available.

Employee Handbook – Please contact the County Clerk’s office for the most current copy, this online edition is provided as a convenience, but the handbook can be changed by the Board of Commissioners and the copy provided online may be older than the most current version.
